Pre-Construction Soil Treatment (againts White Ants /Subterranean Termites)

Horizontal Barrier
1 st Stage
Formed after the building's ground beams have been constructed prior to the concrete-foundation being poured. This is accomplished by applying pesticide into trenches in the soil adjacent to the said ground beams and any other structures in contact with the soil. The said pesticide will be applied to both sides of the said ground beams at a rate of 4 litres per 1 linear meter of trench the soil surface of the concrete-foundation is sprayed at an application rate of 5 litres of pesticide per square meter. The said barrier will prevent Subterranean Termites from penetrating the building through cracks and crevices on the reverse side of the foundation.

Vertical Barriers
2 nd Stage
The second (2nd) stage of the treatment will be performed when the proposed building has been erected. The treatment involves application of pesticide to areas such as expansion joints of concrete slabs, near plumbing or utility entrances through concrete-foundation. The walls of the first floor of the building and any other level, which is in close proximity with the soil, will be treated with pesticide. We will also conduct spraying of pesticide on the entire roof trust, which will be performed once the said roof trust has been constructed.

    Corrective Soil Treatment

This treatment permits a continuous barrier of termiticide (Barrier Treatment) between soil and your property. The said treatment prevents White Ants (Subterranean Termites) from nesting and subsequently penetrating your property from underground.

  Stages of the Drilling Method

  1 st Stage

  DRILLING

To enable pesticide to form the ‘Barrier Treatment', drilling is of paramount importance. Holes of ‘16 mm' in diameter are drilled 4 inches from the vertical wall and spaced 18 inches apart and 420 mm in depth or till the drill bit touches soil.

  2 nd Stage
  CHEMICAL INJECTION
Approximately 5 liters of insecticide/water mixture is pumped into the ground at each drilled-hole.

  3 rd Stage
  PATCHING

Once chemicals have been pumped into the ground these holes will be filled with a colored cement mix to match the general appearance of the floor-surface.

Termite Proofing System (TPS) – Non Drilling Method

Upon conclusion of the inspection, our Technicians will bore holes at areas where the presence of the said pest is active with aid of a portable hand drill machine. This is to enable the powder to be administered to treat the infected premise for Subterranean Termites. Subsequently, the powder will be injected through the said holes with the aid of a blower.

Initial Treatment

Fundamental treatment against infested area of pest. Our experienced technicians will identify all possible harbor areas and will conduct spraying of termiticide to these areas. The initial treatment will be carried out once and subsequently followed by monitoring packages.

Tree Trenching
This treatment permits a continuous barrier of termiticide (Barrier Treatment) between soil and surrounding the tree. The said treatment prevents White Ants (Subterranean Termites) from nesting and subsequently damaging your tree from underground.

General Termite Spraying
It is a process of administering insecticides with the aid of a hand pump. The said pump allows a fine residual spray to be applied at common areas and areas that are difficult to access. We propose to perform fine residual spraying for the premise. This type of spraying is specifically designed for eradication and management of an array of pest. This package is a basic monitoring package for termites.
